Borgo Finocchieto, Tuscany

In the hills near Buonconvento, in the province of Siena, Borgo Finocchieto brings together restored stone buildings around a central piazza. I photographed its interiors, courtyards and gardens during my work with Airbnb Luxe, exploring the relationship between the historic architecture and the Tuscan landscape. In May 2017, Barack and Michelle Obama stayed at the estate, as reported by local media.
